Chief People Officer
Supriya Sood is chief people officer for Alignment Health, a tech-enabled Medicare Advantage company championing a new path in senior care.
In this role, Ms. Sood sets and executes the organization’s overall People strategy and ensures its alignment with key business objectives. She oversees Alignment’s workforce strategy, with a focus on attracting and retaining world-class talent; mission- and performance-based culture; total rewards; organizational development; and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Alignment’s People strategy fosters a dynamic and progressive work environment that empowers employees to serve its members and patients with the care they deserve.
Ms. Sood values having social impact and, as such, has always gravitated toward working for mission-based companies. Prior to joining Alignment Health, she was staff vice president of human resources at Anthem, Inc. She has previously led the Human Capital function at multiple companies including VCA Antech, Molina Healthcare, and TRISTAR Insurance Group.
Ms. Sood is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), for which she has previously served as a board member. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
