Sebastian Burzacchi is chief operating officer for Alignment Health’s management services organization (MSO).

Sebastian Burzacchi is chief operating officer for Alignment Health’s management services organization (MSO).

In this role, Mr. Burzacchi is focused on enhancing support of Alignment’s provider partners to ensure a seamless experience through its MSO and overseeing tasks ranging from simplifying credentialing to processing timely claims.

With over 18 years of experience in operations and management, Mr. Burzacchi brings a wealth of expertise to Alignment. He is proficient in scaling and transforming teams, leading impactful initiatives that boost efficiency, foster expansion and elevate quality. He excels in guiding large teams to consistently surpass regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices, resulting in best-in-class experiences for members.

Mr. Burzacchi most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Operations for Veho Tech, where he led a team of 1,000 – the largest in the organization. His team oversaw the operations of Veho's marketplace, regional operations, supply chain, warehouse and other business divisions. His accomplishments include steering Veho toward profitability, ensuring operational capacity to sustain annual growth and reducing operating costs by more than 50%.

Prior to Veho, he held various roles at Oscar Health, helping to transform and scale operations from 70,000 members to serving over 1.1 million members. These roles included serving as Head of Insurance Operations, Head of Concierge and Senior Vice President of Operations.
 
Mr. Burzacchi holds a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
